Your visit request is submitted through NASA’s Enterprise Access Visitor Management System (EVAMS). You will receive an email with a link you must complete. Processing may take several days, so please respond promptly.

All visitors must check in at the JPL Visitor Center (4800 Oak Grove Dr., Pasadena, CA 91109).

Please plan to arrive by 7:30 AM to allow time for:

  • Parking
  • Security check
  • Temporary badge processing

Bring a valid government issued photo ID.

Effective May 7, 2025, JPL requires a REAL ID for visitor access.

Follow signs to Visitor Parking at the Visitor Center. Security may ask to see your confirmation email before allowing vehicle entry.

What’s the correct driving route?**

GPS apps frequently route visitors to the east entrance, which is not accessible to guests. If you end up on a long winding road, turn around and use the Oak Grove Dr. freeway exit.

An MTTC team member will meet you at the Visitor Center and escort you to your classroom building.

MTTC classrooms are training labs—appropriate lab attire is required:

  • Clothing must cover legs and torso
  • No shorts, crop tops, mini skirts, or tank tops
  • Wear closed toe shoes only

Yes, assistance for transportation onsite is available. Please contact mttc_help@jpl.nasa.gov a mininimum of 2 weeks prior to start day for arrangments.

Lunch is not provided, but:

  • The cafeteria is within walking distance
  • The instructor will escort students at all times, including lunch
  • You may bring your own lunch; microwaves are available.

There will be no time to leave JPL for lunch. Please plan accordingly.

Laptops are not required for activities or exams in courses 8739.1, 8739.4, and 8739.5. However, for all other courses, it is recommended to bring a laptop to access digital course materials.

Visitors use the JPL Guest Wi Fi network. Instructions are available here:

https://jplnet.jpl.nasa.gov/wifi/wifi_guest.php

Safety is taken seriously at MTTC:

  • Follow instructor guidance at all times
  • Wear proper attire (see “What should I wear?”)
  • In case of injury notify instructors

If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration by notifying mttc_help@jpl.nasa.gov at least 5 business days before class.

Declining the Outlook meeting invitation does not cancel your registration and will be recorded as a no-show.

Participants may not miss more than 10% of the scheduled class time, or amount that is determined to be detrimental to the required level of training, as deemed by the instructor.

Please contact us in advance if there are concerns about meeting this requirement.

Declining the Outlook invitation does not cancel your registration.

Please notify mttc_help@jpl.nasa.gov five business days prior if you cannot attend.

Generally, within 7 business days.
